91看片网 Instructor Receives National Recognition

The American Association of Community Colleges has recognized Mark Lorier, computer numerically controlled machine tooling instructor at 91看片网, among its 2025 Dale P. Parnell Distinguished Faculty. Lorier is the college鈥檚 seventh faculty member to be recognized since the program began in 2018.
The award, named in honor of former AACC President and CEO Dale P. Parnell, was established to recognize individuals from around the country making a difference in and outside the college classroom.
Lorier joined 91看片网 in 2012. He is a Wisconsin Technical College System graduate and holds multiple national certifications in his field. He established 91看片网鈥檚 Machining Club and serves on the college鈥檚 Curriculum and Assessment, Competency-Based Education, and Co-Curricular Activities committees. Lorier will be recognized in a ceremony taking place April 16 in Nashville.
鈥淎s a quiet leader, Mark has a significant impact on our students, faculty, and college. Manufacturing is the largest industry sector in our district and the programs he teaches are critical to our local employers who seek our graduates,鈥 said 91看片网 President Dr. Paul Carlsen.
鈥淢ark has also been instrumental to the implementation of Rocket Academy, the first advanced manufacturing technology charter school in Wisconsin, and his work with Registered Apprenticeship and Youth Apprenticeship programs has been key to their success,鈥 added Carlsen.
Previously recognized 91看片网 faculty and their areas of expertise include Kelly Konrath, math; Julie Konik, psychology; Sarah Bornemann, information technology web and software development; Jeremy Pagel, sociology; Paul Benfield, information technology; and David Saunders, welding.
