Accreditation

Core Respiratory Therapy courses are offered through Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). Accreditation information for the Respiratory Therapy program is maintained by MATC.

91Ƭ’s Emergency Medical Technician program prepares students to obtain the required licensure to be employed/practice in the state of Wisconsin. Federal regulations state that institutions may not enroll students who intend to practice in states where our curriculum does not meet requirements for preparation, examination, or licensure. If you intend to work outside Wisconsin, please work with your academic counselor to determine whether 91Ƭ’s curriculum and/or Wisconsin credentials meet the requirements of the state where you intend to practice.

Drive ambulances and assist with the transportation of sick, injured, or recovering individuals. May help lift and move patients and provide support during transport.

Assess injuries and illnesses, provide basic emergency medical care, and stabilize patients in emergency situations. May transport injured or ill individuals to hospitals or other healthcare facilities for further treatment.

Submit high school transcripts, college transcripts, and test scores (optional, highly recommended). Official transcripts will be needed for transferring college credit(s) and for financial aid purposes.

Some of 91Ƭ’s programs may reach program capacity due to high demand. When this occurs, the College will follow the Admissions Procedure to establish and maintain a waitlist to prioritize enrollment. In addition, some programs may offer a petition process outlined in their specific program handbook.

Due to technical and highly supervised nature of the EMT Training, EMT courses will require face to face and online coursework.
